The calculator you just used is perfect for getting started, but a basic drawer box like this has its limitations. It relies on glue and brad nails to hold the bottom in place, it cannot take advantage of prefinished plywood, and it leaves the outside of the box looking less refined. On top of that, this type of drawer cannot be used with undermount slides, which are by far the best option for smooth function, easy adjustments, and a clean look.
